AVAD Capital and Etude Capital acquire Lone Star Storage in Odessa578-unit Texas facility adds to growing self-storage platforms
February 17, 2026: A joint venture between AVAD Capital and Etude Capital has acquired Lone Star Storage in Odessa, Texas, further expanding both firms’ presence in the state’s resilient self-storage market.
Located at 4415 E. 53rd St., the facility comprises 70,210 net rentable square feet across 578 units, including a mix of standard and climate-controlled spaces designed to meet diverse tenant demand.
The buyer and seller, Texas Lone Star Storage Centers Ltd., were represented in the transaction by Bill Bellomy, Logan Foster, Hugh Horne and Michael Johnson of Versal, a commercial real estate firm based in Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles that specializes in self-storage transactions.
AVAD Capital operates 48 Avid Storage facilities across Arkansas, Florida and Texas, while Etude Capital focuses on the acquisition and management of self-storage properties nationwide.
