$250M Joint Venture with GEM Realty Capital and Madison Capital Group Fuels Strategic Growth in Katy and Richmond

February 18, 2026: Go Store It Self Storage has acquired a four-property portfolio of boat and RV storage facilities in Katy and Richmond, Texas, marking another strategic expansion in the high-demand outdoor vehicle storage sector.

The acquisition was backed by a $250 million joint venture between GEM Realty Capital and Madison Capital Group Holdings LLC, the parent company of Go Store It. The investment underscores continued institutional confidence in the growing boat and RV storage asset class.

The portfolio includes Elite Boat & RV Storage, FM 359 Boat & RV Storage, Grand Parkway Boat & RV Storage, and Katy Cinco Boat & RV Storage. Collectively, the properties comprise 705 units, including 560 covered or enclosed spaces designed to meet rising demand for secure vehicle storage in the Greater Houston area.

With this latest acquisition, Go Store It continues to strengthen its presence nationwide. The company now operates 189 properties across 27 states, further solidifying its position as a leading platform in the self-storage sector.
