The new spaces are designed to support businesses with inventory, supply, and overflow management

November 6, 2025: Manhattan Mini Storage has added 65 new commercial units to its self-storage facility at 155 W. 29th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The units, each offering up to 1,000 square feet, are designed to help businesses efficiently manage inventory, supplies, and overflow storage needs.

The property is owned by The Davis Companies, a commercial real estate firm specializing in industrial, multi-family, office, and self-storage assets. It is managed jointly by Manhattan Mini Storage and StorageMart, which together provide third-party management services to the self-storage industry.

Manhattan Mini Storage operates 21 facilities across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, New York. The company was acquired by StorageMart in 2021, expanding StorageMart’s global footprint to more than 300 properties across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
