Expansion includes plans for new climate-controlled units

July 13, 2025: Boardwalk Development Group LLC, a private-equity investment company that operates the Boardwalk Storage brand, has acquired Hiram Self Storage in Hiram, Georgia. The facility at 155 Reynolds Road offers drive-up units and outdoor vehicle storage. The operator plans to add 24,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage. 

Founded in Atlanta in 2016, Boardwalk specializes in self-storage and boat-storage acquisition, development, investment and operation in the Southeast.
