June 5, 2025: The William Warren Group (WWG), a privately held real estate company that operates the StorQuest Self Storage brand, converted the landmark Pacific Storage building in Stockton, California, into climate-controlled space. The historic downtown structure at 523 N. Hunter St. dates back to 1856 as Pacific Tannery, a leather-production factory that was launched during the California Gold Rush. Founded in 1994 and based in Santa Monica, California, WWG acquires, develops and operates self-storage facilities nationwide, with a portfolio of more than 280 properties.
