June 26, 2024: REIT Extra Space Storage Inc. received approval from the Oro Valley Town Council for a $10.7 million expansion of its facility at 8710 Oracle Road in Tucson, Arizona. Plans for the property include a two-story building comprising 51,700 square feet in 392 units, plus 68 covered vehicle-storage spaces. The expansion will increase the facility’s footprint to 131,165 square feet in 1,126 storage units and 85 vehicle-storage spaces. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Extra Space owns or operates more than 3,651 self-storage facilities nationwide.
