Tulfra develops and operates residential, retail and self-storage properties

March 26, 2024: Tulfra Real Estate is seeking permission to build a mixed-use project in North Haledon, New Jersey. The proposal for the vacant 4.7-acre lot at 987 Belmont Ave. calls for a three-story self-storage building, a 4,379-square-foot retail structure that will accommodate two tenants, and 90 apartments, including 16 for low-income families. The project is facing opposition from community members, who raised concerns at a recent board meeting about water runoff, traffic and noise. A public hearing has yet to be set.
