May 29, 2023: LSC Development LLC completed its conversion of a former plumbing-supply building in Chicago to self-storage. The property at 4701 N. Ravenswood Ave. comprises 78,698 rentable square feet in 916 units. The project included the addition of a partial third floor to the existing two-story structure and was designed by SGW Architects, with Cobalt Commercial Construction serving as contractor. Construction financing was provided by Centier Bank. Once complete, it’ll be branded and managed by REIT Extra Space Storage Inc.
