May 15, 2023: Shurgard Self Storage Ltd., the European affiliate of U.S.-based REIT Public Storage Inc., is building a facility in Tottenham, London. Expected to open by the end of the year, it’ll comprise 8,200 square meters in 1,200 units. Shurgard operates 267 self-storage properties comprising 1.4 million net rentable square meters in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
