West Coast Self-Storage Completes Expansion of West Seattle Facility

The expansion adds 230 new storage units, bringing the West Seattle facility’s total to more than 1,000 spaces

West Coast Self-Storage (WCSS) has completed an expansion of its self-storage facility at 3252 Harbor Ave. S.W. in West Seattle, adding 230 storage units to the property.

The expansion brings the facility’s total to 1,087 storage spaces and introduces additional storage options, including large, heated, ground-floor units with high ceilings designed to provide greater convenience and accessibility for customers.

Seacon Construction served as the contractor for the expansion and also constructed the original facility, which opened in 2020. The original property featured 65,240 square feet of rentable storage space across 857 units.

Founded in 2006 by John Eisenbarth, Jim McNamee, Mike Spaulding and Steve Tangney, West Coast Self-Storage acquires, develops and manages self-storage facilities throughout the western United States. The company currently owns or manages more than 160 locations across California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
