A Storage Place adds more than 1,400 units and 110,000 rentable square feet to San Diego’s self-storage market

October 8, 2026: Frontera Real Estate and HP Investors have opened A Storage Place, a new self-storage facility in San Diego, California. 

Located at 7007 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., the six-story facility features approximately 110,000 rentable square feet across more than 1,400 units, expanding self-storage options in the San Diego market.

The property was constructed by P.B. Brown General Contractors and designed by Jordan Architects. As part of the project, the developers partnered with San Diego artist Aaron Chang to incorporate a distinctive mural inspired by the local landscape. The artwork depicts a hill at Torrey Pines State Park, framed within the curl of a wave.

Founded in 2015, Frontera Real Estate is a real estate company focused on the acquisition and development of commercial assets. HP Investors, founded in 2010, owns and manages real estate properties throughout the West Coast.
