The newly opened Monmouth Junction facility adds more than 1,000 climate-controlled and vehicle-storage spaces to 1784 Holdings’ growing portfolio

October 9, 2026: 1784 Holdings has expanded its self-storage portfolio with the opening of a new facility in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.

Located at 14 Deerpark Drive, the 5-acre property features a three-story, 123,246-square-foot building with 962 climate-controlled units and 55 vehicle-storage spaces. The facility is managed and designed by Extra Space Storage Inc.

The project was constructed by ARCO/Murray, a national design-build general contractor specializing in self-storage development. Ethan Lane and John Krawietz served as project managers, while superintendent David Theriot oversaw day-to-day construction and field operations.

The New Jersey opening is part of 1784 Holdings’ broader development activity. The company also has a new facility under development in Bethesda, Maryland, at 5204 River Road. The planned property will include 131,559 net rentable square feet and 1,560 climate-controlled units, with an expected opening in the first quarter of 2027.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, 1784 Holdings acquires, develops, constructs and owns self-storage facilities. The company currently operates more than 30 facilities across 10 states under various brand names.
