August 2, 2026: 4 Rivers Property Group is transforming the former Tradesman Brewing Co. property in Charleston, South Carolina, into a modern self-storage facility. The investment firm recently acquired the 2.3-acre property at 1647 King St. Extension for $4 million as part of its redevelopment plans.
The proposed project will feature a four-story self-storage building encompassing approximately 106,000 square feet, adding significant storage capacity to serve the growing Charleston market. The redevelopment repurposes the former brewery site into a new commercial asset designed to meet increasing demand for self-storage in the region.
Founded in 2022, 4 Rivers Property Group is a private real estate investment management firm with approximately $750 million in gross commercial assets under management. The Charleston project further expands the firm's investment portfolio while contributing to the adaptive reuse of an existing commercial property.
