Revised proposal eliminates wetland impact with four-building storage developmentBN

August 3, 2026: Home builders Cutter Place Properties LLC and Salt Creek Properties LLC are seeking approval from the Nashua, New Hampshire, Zoning Board to redevelop a property at 34 Buckmeadow Road into a new self-storage facility. The proposed project would replace an existing warehouse with four modern self-storage buildings. 

The current structure has a long history, originally constructed in 1961 as a chicken coop before being converted into a warehouse in 1981. Initial redevelopment plans called for seven self-storage buildings, but portions of the proposal encroached on a wetland located on the property.

In response, the developers revised the project by reducing the number of buildings to four and incorporating additional site improvements. The updated design eliminates any impact on the wetland, addressing environmental concerns while maintaining the project's overall objectives.

The revised proposal has received support from the Nashua Conservation Commission, marking a positive step as the developers move forward in seeking zoning approval for the self-storage development.
