New 116-unit facility to expand with future outdoor vehicle storage

August 3, 2026: Alternate Attic Storage LLC is set to open a new self-storage facility in Rice, Virginia, this October, expanding storage options for residents and businesses in the region. The new property, located at 23688 Prince Edward Highway, will feature 116 storage units designed to meet a variety of personal and business storage needs.

The facility is owned by Andy Ellington and Tracey Ellington, a married couple committed to serving the local community with secure and convenient storage solutions. In addition to the initial self-storage units, the owners have plans to further expand the property by introducing outdoor vehicle storage, providing customers with additional space for RVs, boats, trailers, and other vehicles.
