Family-owned self-storage operator continues its UK growth with a new 140-unit storage park

July 8, 2026: Lock Stock Self Storage has opened a new facility in Stoke-on-Trent, England, further expanding its network of container-based self-storage locations across the United Kingdom. 

Situated on Uttoxeter Road, the new 1-acre storage park features 140 secure storage units, offering flexible storage solutions for both residential and business customers.

Founded in 1999 by brothers Nick and Shon Powell, Lock Stock now operates more than 35 self-storage facilities and offers nearly 5,000 storage containers nationwide. In addition to self-storage, the family-run business also supports customers with moving services through its Take Stock van fleet.
