July 9, 2026: After more than three years of planning, entitlements, and municipal approvals, Basis Industrial is set to begin construction on a new self-storage facility in Wayne, New Jersey, this August.

The development at 555 Hamburg Turnpike will feature 85,330 square feet of storage space across 586 units, helping meet the region's growing storage demand.

The project is expected to be completed by February 2028.

Construction is backed by a $24 million loan provided by NexBank and NexPoint. Based in Delray Beach, Florida, Basis Industrial continues to expand its portfolio with strategically located self-storage developments.
