Cedar Creek Capital expands Texas self-storage portfolioCompany acquires two self-storage facilities in Texas
May 23, 2026: Cedar Creek Capital, a privately held real estate investment and development company, has acquired two self-storage properties in Texas as part of its continued portfolio expansion.
One of the acquired properties is Yellow Door Storage, located at 3309 Fort Worth Drive in Denton, Texas. Built in 2023, the facility offers approximately 109,515 square feet of storage space across 449 units. At the time of acquisition, the property was valued at approximately $9 million.
The company also acquired an unnamed self-storage facility in Little Elm, Texas, for $19.2 million. Constructed in 2023, the property includes 1,000 storage units designed to serve growing local demand.
Both facilities will be managed and branded under StoreLocal, a self-storage management and marketing platform.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Cedar Creek Capital manages approximately $350 million in self-storage assets. Its portfolio currently spans around 2.7 million square feet of self-storage space across multiple markets.
