The 83,674-sq-ft property adds to growing footprint, with management by Storage Asset Management

April 29, 2026: Centro Storage has opened a new self-storage facility in Jacksonville. Located at 12963 Duval Road, the property spans 83,674 square feet and features 746 climate-controlled units designed to meet rising local demand.

The facility was developed by Third Lake Development, a Tampa-based firm known for ground-up self-storage projects as well as multi-family and single-family build-to-rent developments in high-growth markets.

Operations at the site will be overseen by Storage Asset Management, headquartered in York.

The new opening strengthens Centro’s presence in Jacksonville, where it already operates a second facility. The company is continuing its expansion in Florida, with a third location currently under development in Osprey.
