MyPlace Self Storage announces the acquisition of GuardBox Facility in TexasFresno property adds over 129,000 square feet and vehicle storage capacity to growing portfolio
March 30, 2026: MyPlace Self Storage has acquired GuardBox Self Storage in Fresno, Texas, further expanding its presence in the U.S. self-storage market.
Developed in 2005, the property spans 8.3 acres at 2935 FM 521 and includes eight single-story buildings. The facility offers 129,493 square feet of rentable space across 551 storage units, along with 98 vehicle-storage spaces, some of which are covered.
Both the buyer and seller—a Texas-based limited-liability company—were represented in the transaction by Dave Knobler, Charles “Chico” LeClaire, Adam Schlosser, and Mixson Staffel of The LeClaire-Schlosser Group.
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Orlando, Florida, MyPlace Self Storage currently operates 62 facilities across 13 states.
