Allied Group Holdings Intends to Build a Mixed-use Project in St. Petersburg, Florida
The project includes a self-storage facility comprising 95,000 square feet in 750 units

July 18, 2021: Jack Dougherty, owner of Allied Group Holdings, is seeking approval to build a mixed-use project in St. Petersburg, Florida. The project plans for 4311 34th St. S. in the Skyway Marina District include a self-storage facility comprising 95,000 square feet in 750 units. Once complete, the facility will be managed by Life Storage Inc., a self-storage real estate investment trust (REIT) and management firm. 

The development will also contain an eight-story residential building with 400 units, a 4,500-square-foot restaurant, a 2,400-square-foot bank with a drive-thru, and a 900-square-foot office. 

The property is adjacent to the 245-unit Marina Walk apartment complex, another Allied project under construction.
