Private Investor announces the acquisition of 2 Marion, SC, self-storage properties
The properties has been sold for $1.96M

October 12, 2015: A private investor recently purchased two self-storage properties in Marion, S.C., for $1.96 million.
According to a press release from Midcoast Properties Inc., the real estate firm that brokered the transaction, the buyer formed an LLC to purchase White’s Mini Storage and Francis Marion Plaza Storage.

The facilities contain 608 standard and climate-controlled units, a clubhouse, and a warehouse with loading dock on a total of 18 acres.

White’s Mini Storage comprises 84,985 net rentable square feet of storage space in 22 buildings. The facility opened in the year 1975 and expanded in 2009. Francis Marion Plaza Storage encompasses 42,000 net rentable square feet of storage space. The facility opened in 1991 and has 11 buildings. The release stated that, both properties have room for expansion. 

Security features include perimeter fencing, lighting, and video cameras. Each also has a rental office.

Dale C. Eisenman, president of Midcoast Properties, represented the seller. The company offers brokerage services in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
