. It has supported organizations which include animal protection, the arts, education, humanitarian work and medical research, as per source.
“Giving back is not only something instilled in the owners of our company, but also something shared by our staff as well,” Jeff Henick, chief operating officer, told the source. “The charitable foundation is just one example of our giving philosophy. In addition to monetary donations, our staff has participated in charitable drives and events for causes such as New Eyes for the Needy, the American Cancer Society, and the Rocco Laurie Scholarship Fund. We are proud of our commitment to the communities and the people we serve and look forward to doing so much more.”
The self-storage company has supported the American Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Doctors Without Borders, Girl Scouts of America, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to benefit the American Cancer Society and many other organizations.
Stop & Stor was established in 1980 by the Henick and Morty Simon families. It has facilities in Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, NY.
