Self-Storage Operator Manhattan Mini Supports Nonprofits Through ‘Flashbacks Give Back’ Contest
Manhattan Mini storage operates 17 self-storage facilities throughout New York City

November 19, 2020: Manhattan Mini Storage (MMS), has recently conducted a “Flashbacks Give Back” contest to support local nonprofits. As the basis for its contest, it partnered five of its most popular ads from the past decade with five charities and asked the public to vote on their favorite pairing, according to a press release.

The featured organizations were Equality Now, The Fashion Foundation, Housing Works, I Challenge Myself and Planned Parenthood of Greater New York. All five groups received donations, but the winner—The Fashion Foundation—received the most.

Manhattan Mini Storage also awarded three prizes at random to people who participated in the voting. The gifts were $2,500 in cash, a free storage-unit rental, and a free session with professional organization firm Horderly.

We were delighted our nonprofit won! As the smallest organization in the running, it showed we are small but mighty. We’re grateful to our supporters who were passionate in helping us win the most votes for the Flashbacks Give Back contest. This is an incredibly big deal, and will allow us to support local children in need throughout New York by providing them with warm winter essentials, school supplies and gifts during the holiday season, along with learning tools throughout the school year. What an incredible milestone during a difficult time to help us carry out our mission. Thanks to Manhattan Mini Storage!" Said by Amanda Munz, founder of The Fashion Foundation, which combines fashion and charitable giving.

Manhattan Mini Storage founded in 1978, offers traditional self-storage, a shuttle service, a moving concierge and valet storage. Edison Properties is the parent company of MMS. The company owns executive offices and pre-built suites.
