The Annual Spring Conference canceled due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus
March 12, 2020: Self Storage Association (SSA) announced the cancellation of Spring Conference and Trade show scheduled for March 17th to 19th in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19. The decision was made by the SSA Board of Directors and staff “in consideration for the health and safety of all participants,” from the statement released by Timothy J. Dietz, association president.
“As you might imagine, our top priority will always be the well-being of all those associated with SSA activities. Unforeseen consequences that could unduly jeopardize the productivity of our member companies is also a determining factor. Our entire board and team are disappointed that we will not be in San Antonio this month, a great town with much to offer” stated in Dietz’s release.
Self Storage Association will issue a full refund for registration and exhibitor fees toward its fall event scheduled in Las Vegas. Registrants will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to claim their refund, based on the statement.
