Jenkins currently has 15 properties totaling more than 1.5 million square feet of storage space under development

Formed in 1989, The Jenkins Organization, a Houston-based developer and operator of self-storage facilities, received approval from the city council on May 9 to construct a new self-storage facility in Bee Cave, Texas
According to the source, development of the 4-acre site required a special-use permit. The city council also required Jenkins to post a fiscal security of $273,501 to fund its pollution-control plan.
Bee Cave Self-Storage will include two buildings comprising 107,995 square feet of storage space as well as a manager’s apartment.
Jenkins recently purchased 23 properties in Minnesota and Texas.
The Jenkins Organization owns and manages a portfolio of more than 50 self-storage properties comprising more than 3.5 million square feet in Louisiana, Minnesota, Texas and Virginia.
