January 17, 2023: A partnership between InSite Property Group and Roem Corp. intends to build a mixed-use complex that includes affordable housing and self-storage in San Jose, California. The project at 5670 Camden Ave. would be built on a 10.7-acre site that currently houses three schools. The developers have proposed subdividing the parcel into three lots, one each for the apartments, schools, and self-storage facility. A preliminary proposal has been submitted to gauge feedback from city officials.
